SALARY LEVEL: PAY BAND 7 $70,714.17 - $104,674.24 ANNUALLY

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:


Under the direct supervision of the Director of Health the Accreditation Health Officer, oversees the planning, development, and implementation for the Accreditation process throughout the Department of Health and Department of Community and Social Services, Mohawk Council of Akwesasne. Ensures that all programs meet or exceed the national standards of excellence as funding sources are now mandating accreditation certification within program services. Represents the Department of Health Administration and works with the Director and Assistant Director to ensure the organization performs against the national standards of excellence and identifies opportunities to achieve improved performance. This position contributes towards development, maintenance, and evaluation of the ten-year Community Health Plan/Health Transfer Agreement; collects and retains records for annual update of the Community Health Plan; maintains and updates a framework for the Annual Report to Akwesasronon; analyzes data received from all sources; leads specific organizational projects as they arise; ensures timely receipt of aggregate reports.


QUALIFICATIONS:


• 2-year Post Secondary Diploma in the field of Business Administration or health related field.


• Minimum two (2) years supervisor experience with proven skill in quality improvement assessment, planning, reporting and evaluation.
