Course Summary: 


Introduces the basic concepts needed for an understanding of refrigeration. Traces the basic, refrigeration cycle. Course topics include air conditioning and refrigeration, vapor compression equipment and refrigeration, system operation checks, test and recovery equipment, evacuation and charging, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical troubleshooting.

          • Educational, professional, and personal goals for the next year will be and the action steps for each:
            • Immediate and short-term goals – Within the next 3 months
              • Educational goals can include but is not limited to: OSHA 30 certification, Driver’s license, etc.
              • Employment goals can include but are not limited to: Creating resume, applying to Heavy Equipment jobs, registering for a union, etc.
              • Personal goals can include but are not limited to: saving money each paycheck, pay down debt, etc.
            • Intermediate and long-term goals – Within the next 4 months to 1 year
    • Step 2: Provide all supporting documents
      • Submit proof of native status
      • Submit proof of residency
        • This MUST have a physical address listed. Acceptable documents include:
          • Valid Driver's License
          • Utility bill
          • Bank Statement
          • Pay Stub
          • Government Issued Document
    • Step 3: Receive confirmation of eligibility from Intake Coordinator
    • Step 4: Connect with Case Manager for additional documentation and additional steps
