SALARY LEVEL: PAY BAND 7 $70,714.17 - $104,674.24 ANNUALLY

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Department of Infrastructure & Housing Director, the Quality Control
Inspector is responsible for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Construction identified within the
program to monitor Capital & Minor Capital Construction Projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Diploma (Colleges/Construction Associations), with a minimum of experience of 3 years in some type of construction.
OR
• High School degree or equivalent and 5-year related experience in construction.
• Incumbent must have basic knowledge of residential and commercial construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, and materials. He or she must have minimal ability to read blueprints. Mathematical skills and analytical skills are necessary to take and compute measurements.
• The QC Inspector will be required to have some knowledge of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s theories, practices and policies related to the planning, design operation, contracting, and maintenance of various construction projects upon hire. Course work through a Construction Association is an asset.
