Reports To: Valet Supervisor/Manager


Salary Range: $10.00 To $12.38 Hourly




JOB SUMMARY: Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner while delivering and returning guest's vehicles to and from Valet parking lot to Casino Entrance. Assist's guests upon entering and exiting their vehicles and be comfortable responding to and carrying out specific guest needs and requests.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:


  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow associates.
  • Delivers and retrieves guest’s car to and from casino front entrance and valet parking lot.
  • Assist’s guests upon entering and exiting their vehicles.
  • Locks cars and gives keys to dispatcher.
  • Adheres to all departmental safety standards and procedures.
  • Dispatches as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Valet Supervisor/Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully complete the essential duties of the pos.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driver abstract. Preferred: One to three months related experience and/or training in a guest service environment. Must have 3 years driving experience.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to walk and run if acting as valet. The associate is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl when servicing or inspecting vehicles. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.




WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. The position exists in a casino work environment where there is frequent and regular exposure to loud noise and tobacco smoke from the casino floor. This position works in extreme weather conditions throughout each season.




CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Gaming Work Permit license which requires a criminal background check to be used solely for employment purposes. Successful candidates for employment must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed. In case of a positive result, the candidate is not eligible for employment with the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort. Employment will not begin until process is complete. 


FLEET POLICY: All candidates must be 18 years of age when applying. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driver abstract.
