About this Scholarship:
ELIGIBILITY: Students born and raised in Akwesasne, attending an accredited U.S. college/university, full-time status, pursuing an undergraduate degree (associates or bachelors degree) Must maintain a GPA of 2.5 and above to qualify.
NEW STUDENTS - Submit the following by email to education@srmt-nsn.gov, or call (518)-358-9721:
- Completed Educational Trust Application (No blanks)
- SRMT Tribal Membership Certification Letter
- Acceptance Letter from the college/university you are attending
- High School Diploma/GED
- First semester schedule showing full-time credits
- College and Career Goals Essay (Complete sentences)
RETURNING STUDENTS – Submit the following by email to education@srmt-nsn.gov, or call (518)-358-9721:
- Completed Educational Trust Application (No blanks)
- Last semester grades
- Next semesters schedule
- (Transfers submit new acceptance letter)
